Rotarians, please keep 5:01's on your calendar. The 4th Thursday of the month is for 5:01's and we change the venue to support our favorite bars/restaurants. 5:01's are a perfect way to get to know your fellow Rotarians outside of meetings and it gives us needed visibility in our Community. Strengthening our interpersonal relationships will strengthen our Club. Get yourself to the next 5:01!
For many years, Waseca Rotary has participated in the Rotary Readers program with the Jay's Nest pre-school age children. We stopped this in 2020, but now it is time to get back at it. We will start in October and run through May. We do it monthly on the second Tuesday of the month, once in the morning and once in the afternoon; so there are 16 opportunities to participate this school year. Julie's broad marketing expertise covers a 20-year career with stints at Schwan's, Fingerhut, Northern and most recently, Deluxe Corp. Her real passion? Connecting with local business owners and sharing their startup stories. In her free time, Julie enjoys "anything outdoors," travel and growing grapes at her small vineyard in southwest Minnesota.
