WASECA CLUB WILL MEET IN PERSON (or on Zoom) AND VISITING ROTARIANS WILL BE ON ZOOM.

Destiny is the founder of B.E.A.M.

I founded B.E.A.M.- Black Excellence Around Minnesota, in 2018 after noticing that there was a lack of racial equity in my community, especially in the education being provided to youth. B.E.AM is a multifaceted business that specializes in racial equity, strategic planning, and education. My goal is to help you become more knowledgeable and successful in Racial Equity.

"I am determined to eliminate racism, educate and motivate people, businesses, schools, and families one day at a time. I know that change matters and I believe success happens here." Destiny will be speaking on Microagressions and how that translate into Minnesota Nice. Microagressions are often overlooked as harmful, but they are part of the subtleties of racism. Zoom into The Waseca Rotary Club’s program on February 17th.

Avid college basketball fans have the same chance of having a winning bracket as the person who fills out their bracket based on which school's mascot is better. Even the most astute basketball fan can get busted in the first round of the Tournament. Everyone is qualified to play a "Winner Donates All" bracket challenge along with Lion's and Exchange Club. Each member can submit as many complete brackets they want for $10 each. The bracket winner will get to donate the entire pot of money to their favorite Waseca Nonprofit. Look for the brackets in your email when they are released on March 13th. Brackets will need to be turned in by March 16th. Keep an eye out for more details. 

Within the last year, it has taken quite a bit longer for Rotarians to pay their invoices. Even if you cannot pay in full right away, any fraction of the invoice that can be paid is appreciated. If the quarterly invoicing is not conducive to your cashflow, monthly invoicing is available by request.
