As much as I enjoy getting out of Waseca every now and then, our Community puts on some excellent events. If you are not attending some of them, you are missing out! This week has some fantastic events that Rotarians can attend and support. The Sleigh & Cutter Festival might seem like it lasts 17 months out of the year, but it's actually only like a six week period. This week you can check out the ice carvings at the Public Safety Building (say hi to Penny while you're there), the Parade is on Saturday at noon, and the Kite Festival on the south end of Clear Lake is on Sunday afternoon. The best part is, all of these events are FREE. Attending activities like these are simple ways for Rotarians to support our Community.
Happy Holidays,
Ann
Rotary Readers Needs Six More Readers
We just need six more Rotarians to fill in spots for Rotary Readers for the school year. This is an impactful outreach activity for our Club with great visibility in the Community. If we do not get Rotarians to fill in, you may get an email or text from President Fitch inquiring about your literacy levels. Jason Stenzel admitted he could read, and then all of a sudden, he was signed up. Sign up with the link below.
