I hope everyone enjoyed their hot and humid summer weekend! It isn’t Minnesota if we don’t have some humidity to go along with the hot temps.
Last Thursday we had our Rotary Pool Party at the Waseca Waterpark, with 233 in attendance for our 3rd year. Our first year we had 125 join us, so we have definitely grown our numbers and the community showed they loved it! This is a service to families that may not be able to afford admission to the water park, or families that need the extended hours of this event to get to the water park. It’s so great to see families come out and enjoy themselves. My kids loved every minute of it. I think Ann had the best time going to down the water slide. We were sad Bruce didn’t show her how it’s done. There’s always next year!
August is coming in a few short days. Hopefully every one is getting all they can out of summer, with only a month left before kids start heading back to school and the seasons change. Enjoy this week and we will see you Thursday at noon!
