Cassie and I were absolutely thrilled by the incredible turnout for our Thanksgiving basket preparation and distribution. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Molly and the entire service committee for their dedication and hard work in bringing this meaningful project to life. It’s inspiring to see our club come together to make such a positive impact. We are excited to keep this momentum going and continue demonstrating Rotary’s steadfast commitment to our community.
Our beloved Tom the Turkey fundraiser was a tremendous success this year! Thanks to a wonderful partnership with Exchange, our combined efforts secured the final funding needed for the Thanksgiving baskets. Rotary alone raised an impressive $901—thank you all for your generous contributions and community spirit. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
Looking ahead, we still need enthusiastic volunteers to help with Salvation Army bell ringing on December 13th. We’re aiming for two ringers per hour-long shift to spread holiday cheer and support those in need. If you haven’t signed up yet, please keep an eye out for the sign-up form coming around again this week. Your participation is invaluable!
And don’t forget, our Jingle Belt It Out event is also happening on December 13th! This promises to be an unforgettable morning filled with music, fun, and community spirit. Tickets are flying fast, so be sure to secure yours as soon as possible. All proceeds will go directly toward providing cold weather gear for our students, helping them stay warm and comfortable this winter.
Thank you all for your continued generosity, enthusiasm, and dedication. Together, we’re making this season brighter for so many. Stay warm, stay safe, and let’s keep the holiday spirit alive!
