Thank you to all who attended our 4-H lunch last Thursday! Our speaker, Oriana Jewison, was inspiring to me, with all of her talents and passion for 4-H. It’s going to be awesome watching her grow in our community. I hope everyone had a chance to get to the Waseca County Fair to eat some delicious food and sweat it out! It was hot but it seemed to be a great turn out!
I’m excited to take on this new role as Co-President with Amy. She’s been such a great role model for me ever since I met her in high school! I’m looking forward to working with her and letting her show me the ropes. I’ve always been a leader in my salon and confident behind the chair. Honestly though, this role is a bit scary for me, writing an email is like some of you trying to do a haircut. Haha! It’s going to be fun to learn new things and be more active in our community. I love raising my family of four with my also, self employed husband, in Waseca.
Amy and I have some fun things we are working on to continue our focus on mental health and as always, helping in our community.
Thank you for allowing me to take on this new role-
Sincerely,
Cassie Meister
Rotarians should attend this event, you might get to see Bruce go down the slide again!
Believet™ provides highly trained service dogs, free of charge, to disabled veterans, helping them to lead more productive, independent lives. Trained service dogs can provide an essential source of security, affection, and connection for our veterans. Believet’s dogs are specially-trained to perform mobility and psychiatric tasks. They can wake a veteran from a nightmare, ease their anxiety in a crowded public place, and provide comfort through companionship and physical contact. Our dogs also help keep veterans on a schedule because the dogs need care and attention on a regular basis. A service dog provides a sense of security, greater independence, non-judgmental acceptance, affection, physical assistance, and peace of mind.
