Welcome to another issue of our weekly bulletin! Last meeting we heard from Sheriff Brad Milbrath about policing in our County. Brad really drove home the importance of resources for mental illness. There is a shortage of professionals and facilities to help those with mental illness and too often Law Enforcement doesn't have the tools to help.
Join us this week as we listen to Ashley Killday speak about Professional Burnout. You can click on Ashley's name below to read her bio.
We are so proud to announce Mike Harguth as our Service Above Self Award Winner. Mike has been instrumental in growing our Waseca County Free Fair, active in Santa Anonymous at the Waseca Area Neighborhood Service Center, and planning various other meaningful events for Waseca. His friends and coworkers from Schumacher Electric were in attendance to congratulate Mike. He will be formally recognized at the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce Community Awards Night on January 24th. Please RSVP for the awards banquet by emailing info@wasecachamber.com if you would like to attend.
