This week we will observe Juneteenth with no Noon meeting. We will be celebrating Amy Potter at the Pizza Farm from 5-7pm, and all of the hard work she’s done this year as Club President. I’ve been honored to work side by side with her as we work towards making our Rotary Wellness Walk come together. We just presented on Friday to our District for the district grant. Cross your fingers that our club receives the full amount we are asking for. We should hear this week sometime. It has been a learning experience for both of us and it will be very rewarding once we are finally able to create it next year.
Our next meeting will be July 17 at noon, at the Refinery. Our location will not be changing even though Refinery has made some changes in their business structure. At that time we will go over the Constitution and bylaws of our club. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to any of us, Katie, Ann, Peggy, Gregg, and Myself.

Francesco Arezzo, a member of the Rotary Club of Ragusa, Italy, has been selected to become Rotary International’s president for 2025-26. This came after the unexpected resignation of RI President-elect Mário César Martins de Camargo on 8 June. He stepped down abruptly, leaving little time to fine a replacement. The RI Board's special session found Francesco to be the best fit. He will carry forward Mario's Presidential Theme of Unite for Good.
