There is something about sharing a meeting experience with your fellow Rotarians that strengthens our bonds. When we have a stellar speaker, we are talking about that for years with each other. And the same goes for when we have a less than stellar speaker (which is rare), they are a great source of conversation and chuckles for a long time. Attending meetings and 5:01's truly does enhance our Rotary relationships. Attendance is not required at meetings or social events, but so much is missed when a Rotarian disconnects for long periods of time. If you have not been to a meeting in a while, simply know that we miss you and want to see your face again. Heck you can even just come to a 5:01 so we can catch up over drinks!
If have read this and are still wondering exactly who Mike Hugo is; your guess is as good as mine. I have no clue, but our last speaker was VERY excited about his existence with very little context. I hope to see you at a future meeting!

This week we are meeting at the Farm & City Luncheon.
Lunch will be served at noon. There will be designated tables in the back of the room for Rotarians so you can easily get in and out as it fits your work schedule. This is an important event, but it is understood that it can get long and not everyone can accommodate an hour and forty-five minute lunch hour.
This is always a well attended event that highlights the leadership of our Waseca County Agriculture Community. This year we will be recognizing Charlie Priebe, Mark Bernard, Alfred Trahms (posthumously), Adam & Anne Harguth, and Cedar Crate Farms. The Pheasant Café fills our plates with a hearty lunch while we celebrate the accomplishments of our award recipients.
