Pickleball Update
Amy Potter
Cassie Meister
Unfortunately we have decided to cancel the pickleball tournament this Saturday. We didn’t have the numbers we needed to make it a success. If you have any feedback as to why our community wasn’t interested, please let us know! Maybe the middle of winter isn’t the best time or too costly? We do appreciate the willingness to donate time and the financial support.
Looking forward, we will transition into focusing more on the Wellness Walk to be created at Farm America. Amy and I, along with Katie Gonzales, our future Co-president, had a zoom meeting to discuss how to go about acquiring a District Grant within Rotary Club. So we will be looking for a few people members of our club to help with brainstorming and getting this plan in motion! If you’re interested in helping out with this, please reach out!
We will meet this Thursday at noon! See you in a few days.
Thanks,
Cassie Meister
Rotary Readers
Our Club has the rest of the year to fill out for Rotary Readers. We did not have anyone read for February. As Rotarians, this is one of the ways we support education, one of our 7 Causes. If we are unable to fulfill our service, we will have to discontinue the program. Please find time in your schedule to read, it is one of the most enjoyable 20 minutes of your month!
Finding Rotary on the Go! Molly Erdman could not pass up a chance to get a picture with the Mark of Excellence while she was on her trip to England.
Congratulations to Rotarian Mikhail Rostislavovich on receiving the Chamber Champion Award for his extensive volunteerism at for the Chamber in 2024. He put in over 1,000 hours with the organization. Thank you for your dedication to the community!
