I love it when I get to see a Rotarian in their vocation. I have had the opportunity to see many of you in action at work and it is so neat to see you do what you do best. Seeing Rachel in the courtroom is exciting. Listening to Brad give a presentation on planning for your future makes me ready to save. Feeling Cassie split my one eyebrow into two beautiful brows, is just magical. However, I've seen Gregg work, and I still don't know what he does; and he's a doctor for god's sake. Like how? More importantly, of what and who allowed this? But I digress. Last week I got to see Pastor Jillene in action. By the way, she is excellent at her job. Unfortunately I saw her while she was presiding over a funeral. I talked to so many people at the funeral that felt like they had left things unsaid with the person we were all there to celebrate. 

 

It seems to be a bit of a human deficiency that adults don't always tell their friends, coworkers, colleagues, or whomever of importance, that they are meaningful to them. I cannot leave things unsaid with this Club. You are all on a separate level of significance that others in my life simply cannot achieve. Being a Rotarian is highly special to me and something I do not take lightly. Therefore my relationship with each one of you is highly special to me and something I do not take lightly. There is no place I would rather be on the first and third Thursdays at noon, than with all of you. Thank you for the opportunity to be your President for the last year, it has been an absolute honor.
