Greetings! I spent the last week on a family vacation in the Black Hills with my husband, our three kids and my parents. We had a wonderful time enjoying each other and the beautiful landscapes along with many fun activities. Ironically, Marcy’s family was out there as well and we were able to follow their lead on the ATV trails. We came home very muddy with lots of laughs! My feeling is no matter where you go or how far you go, time spent away from your daily routine is beneficial and allows us to recharge. I hope you all have a chance to escape, make memories, recharge and laugh a little (or a lot)!
As we enter into our new Rotary year, we are excited to challenge you to embrace our theme this year: Mental Wellness & Random Acts of Kindness. We will be officially launching our theme on August 17th - so SAVE THE DATE on your calendar now! You WILL want to be here! We have some fun door prizes to give away and a speaker who will share a very moving personal story - one of our own Rotarians! (We’ll keep you in suspense for now.) If you have a fellow Rotarian that maybe has been absent or too busy to attend meetings recently - please personally reach out and encourage them to come on August 17th!
