One of own Rotarians - Jillene Gallatin - shared her personal story last September and continues to work passionately in this area of Suicide Prevention. Here are some of her thoughts and actions to improve mental wellness that we encourage you all to take part in and/or share with those who may benefit.
“I hear that people feel alone, or that they aren’t enough, or if people stopped to connect with their feelings they’d be washed away. The stories we tell ourselves perpetuate those lies. Friends, take care of yourselves. Take care of each other.
If someone comes to your mind, especially today, reach out to them: text them, call them, write them a note, ask them to coffee, tell them you love them.” ~ Jillene

Rotary Readers is Back for Fall
Rotary Readers is one of the most engaging and fun initiatives our Club takes part in; and it only requires about 20 minutes of your time. Supporting education and literacy is one of Rotary International's Causes, this is an impactful way to encourage Waseca youth to pick up a book and explore their imagination that lies within.
Stop up to Northeast Park this week to support your Co-President Amy Potter and the Waseca Area Foundation. Give them a thank you for all they do in Waseca and to congratulate them on 35 years of giving in Waseca!
