Get You Passport Stamped
Ann Fitch
Our District 5960 (that's our District number) has the innovative Passport program. This is to encourage Rotarians to visit other Clubs and get their passport stamped. Visiting other Clubs lets us meet other Rotarians and gather great ideas. I realize this is not an easy task to just step away from work to travel to another community for a meeting. If this is something that can be worked into your schedule, here are some Clubs in our area and their meeting times. Pick up your passport at your next meeting.
Mondays:
Noon, St. Peter at Jake's Pizza and Owatonna at the Owatonna Country Club
Tuesdays:
Noon, Le Sueur at Oak Terrace
Wednesdays:
7am, Owatonna at Riverland Community College
Noon, Mankato at the WOWZone, Albert Lea at Wedgewood, Faribault at Shattuck St. Mary's,
Rotary Readers is in full swing. The kids at Jay's Nest love having us come in and read to them. You can bring a book that you enjoyed reading to your kids or pick one from their library. This is a fantastic way for us to carry out our Rotary International Cause of Supporting Education and Basic Literacy.
John "JP" Eykyn will be joining our Club this week. He is very fortunate to be inducted by our District Governor Dr. Dayle Quigley. He joined iWealth in May of 2021 as an Associate Wealth Advisor. He attended Waseca High School and then went on to graduate from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2021 with a degree in Financial Economics. He currently holds his SIE, Series 7, Series 66, and MN State Health and Life Insurance licenses.
JP is a Waseca, MN native. Some of his hobbies include spending time with family and friends, golf, hockey, and enjoying summer days on the lake or playing yard games. Please come to the meeting this week to welcome JP!
