A few weeks ago I attended the NCPETS conference. It was a great experience. I gained so much knowledge about what Rotary is and how it all works. I’m honored to be Co-President for another year and I look forward to sharing and implementing some of the tools I’ve gained. It was inspiring to hear what other clubs are doing and what works for them.
I do plan on sending out some surveys in the near future so I can get a better understanding of what you want out of our club.
*Don’t forget to drop off Food Shelf donations at Cassie’s Classic Cuts this week OR bring them with you to this week’s meeting, April 6th is the deadline.
*Mental Health event at The Mill, May 15 4-7pm. We’ve already received a few donations to put together some baskets if you have anything you’d like to add, bring those with you as well.
*Our Wellness Walk is going to be beautiful. We are looking for donations from our club as we work on the district grant application. If you are willing to donate, please reach out to Amy or I to let us know we can count on your financial support.
*Our meals at our meetings will be having a slight increase. We weren’t charging for the tax included.
*This week our Speaker is Laura Murray with Greater Mankato United Way.
I’ll leave you with a few Paul Harris quotes and look forward to seeing you this Thursday at noon!
“True leadership is about inspiring others to be their best self” -Paul Harris
“It is well that there is nothing in Rotary so sacred that it cannot be set aside in favor of things better” -Paul Harris
