Thank you to everyone who braved the frigid temperatures to ring the bell for the Salvation Army. It was cold, but you showed up with warm hearts and a true spirit of service. Your willingness to stand out there and serve our community does not go unnoticed.
We also celebrated a very successful Jingle Belt It Out event. In just two hours, we raised nearly $1,000 to help provide cold weather gear for elementary school students in our community. Those funds will be put to work soon, and checks will be presented in the near future, thank you for making such an immediate and meaningful impact.
As we move forward, I encourage everyone to stay engaged and informed about the many ways to serve through our Club. The Service Committee offers monthly volunteer opportunities, and this is exactly why we are part of a service club, to serve.
Please be sure to download the ClubRunner app and add upcoming events from the bulletin to your calendar so you don’t miss out. And yes, due to popular demand and plenty of fun had by all, we will be continuing the brunch series!
Wishing you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a season filled with joy, warmth, and service above self.
